Frequently Asked Questions
What's your professional background?
I discovered the unity engine in 2015, around the time Unity 5 was released. From there I started building small experiences, and eventually used it to build a visual training book for a construction.
Later, when the COVID-19 panidemic hit, I was transferred into data entry where I worked up into a R&D position, building ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) software with a tiny budget. During this time I was studying to get my B.S. in computer science at Kansas State University, and graduated fall in 2023.
After graduation, I accepted a position to work at the Kansas Department of Revenue where I collaborated to solve bugs, find and fix vulnerabilities. I also started working on a top-down parsed, AST interpreted, multiparadigm, DSL (a programming language) from scratch with the intent of building a small visual scripting engine for enterprise applications.
What do you do outside software engineering?
I like to read books on business, history, managment, and theology. I enjoy going on walks, hikes, 3d modeling, boardgames, or playing / watching sports - Go Chiefs!
